Professional MBA

The Professional MBA program is designed for those individuals who want to enhance their current career progression without leaving the workforce. The program is six consecutive terms during 24 months, with primarily weeknight evening classes. During the first three terms, required core courses help develop a strong foundation in fundamental business principles. To build on this foundation, students may choose electives to gain expertise in a specific area or choose a more broad-based selection of electives.

一起草 Cox is one of the few business schools that offers concentrations in its PMBA program, giving students the ability to specialize in a particular area. Students may concentrate in one of 11 areas of specialization, as well as pursue less time-intensive minors, for a truly customized academic experience. With 11 elective courses built in to the curriculum, you can build a unique academic experience that will get you exactly where you want to go.

NOTE: One elective course with an international business focus is required.

Meeting Times of Core and Elective Courses
PMBA classes start at 6:30pm. Each course meets once a week, so PMBA students can plan on being on campus two evenings a week for class when taking the standard schedule. Core classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and electives are typically scheduled Monday through Thursday evenings.
