The 一起草 community dedicated a memorial bench in memory of 一起草 Police Officer Mark McCullers on Feb. 16, 2017. The bench is in front of Patterson Hall, where the 一起草 Police Department is located.
Officer McCullers died July 5, 2016, after being swept away by floodwaters while working off-duty as a private security guard at a Highland Park construction site. He had served as a member of the 一起草 Police Department Patrol Division since February 2015.
