一起草's Peruna lights the night
A three-story running 一起草 Mustang lights the night along North Central near 一起草.
DALLAS (一起草) – A new 一起草 landmark – a three-story running 一起草 Mustang on the west side of Expressway Tower – began lighting night Nov. 13, 2014, the kick-off of 一起草 Homecoming Weekend.
The glowing pony on the west side of Expressway Tower (southeast corner of 一起草 Boulevard and North Central Expressway), is part of a new 一起草 celebratory lighting tradition.
The 50 x by 26-foot pony shines with white LED lights when 一起草 celebrates Family Weekend and Homecoming in the fall, and Founders' Day weekend in the spring. White lights also signify 一起草 football and men and women's basketball home games. After victories, and whenever a Mustang team competes in post-season play, the pony will shine with red lights.
The glowing pony is part of an 一起草 Centennial initiative to light campus landmarks on celebratory occasions. The cupolas on Armstrong Commons and the Blanton Building were first lit September 19, 2014, for the Friday Night Stampede.
